I finished up with a client and walked next door to get something to eat. Not only did I want to get some food, but I also wanted to see Passion. I knew she had been down for a couple of days because she was no longer working at the firm with David. Not only that, but she wasn’t staying in that nice ass condo that she was staying in. She still hadn’t told me why she had given everything back to him and quit. However, I think I had a pretty good idea as to why she did it.

I walked inside the diner, over to the booth, and waited for a waitress to come over and take my order. I was praying that it was either my baby or Asia because I didn’t want to be bothered with Jerricka’s ass. Also, I didn’t want Passion to see her talking to me. I knew that if Passion saw the two of us talking, she would tear this whole diner up. The hate that Passion had for her cousin was bone-deep. That shit wasn’t even in the skin anymore.

As I continued to wait for someone to come and take my order, I saw Passion switching over to where I was sitting. Lately, I had noticed that Passion seemed to have a little glow to her. Usually, when a woman had a glow to her, that means that she was pregnant. Now, I didn’t want to assume anything, but I was praying that she was pregnant with my baby.

“Hey, baby,” I said, greeting her once she got over to where I was standing.

“Hey,” she replied.

She sounded so fucking dry. So, I knew something had to be bothering her.

I grabbed her waist and wrapped my arms around her. “Passion baby, what is going on?” I asked her.

“Nothing,” she said, saying exactly what I told her not to do.

“Don’t tell me nothing Passion. I know something is bothering you,” I replied.

“It’s not baby, I promise.” She shook her head.

“Okay, if you say so,” I said, sighing.

I knew that she was lying but I wasn’t going to push the issue anymore. When she was ready to talk to me, I knew she was going to talk to me.

“Yeah, now, let me go and get your food; I’ll be back,” she said, kissing me on the forehead before she turned to walk away.

As she walked away, my eyes went straight to her ass. She had to be pregnant because her ass had gotten bigger. No, it wasn’t like one of those Instagram model’s ass, but she was spreading like she was pregnant though.

While I continued to stare after Passion and think about her possibly being pregnant with my baby, I saw Jerricka out the corner of my eye. This hoe was most definitely on the creeping side. She had some fucking issues, and I needed her to get the shit straight.

“Is she giving you problems?” I heard Asia ask.

“Nah, ain’t did nothing yet,” I replied.

“Okay, well, if she does do anything, let me know.
